You can eat on the wooden deck while looking at the blue sky, plantings, and bamboo forest, and enjoy a relaxing cup of coffee. On rainy or cold days, you can relax in the living room with the spacious low sofa, or spend your time on the porch or in the Japanese-style room as you please.
This house is located a 7-minute walk from JR Yugawara Station. It is a private Japanese-style house with a wooden deck where you can forget your busy daily life and stay leisurely.
From Tokyo, it takes about 70 minutes by Tokaido Line Limited Express. It is more local than Atami and Hakone, and in addition to gourmet foods such as ramen and local fish, day-trip hot springs are cheap, and you can enjoy the mountains, rivers, and sea. Please come into contact with the hidden charm of Yugawara, which is fun to walk around the city.
There are various shops such as day-trip hot springs, famous Odawara ramen shops, convenience stores, and supermarkets in the neighborhood of this house. The bus stop for the hot spring resort Okuyugawara is a 3-minute walk away. Beaches and parks where you can fish are also within walking distance.
We renovated an old house by DIY to take advantage of the Japanese flavor and renovated it to the relaxing space. There are some points that are conspicuously old and deteriorated, and there are parts with a slightly rough finish, but we clean, disinfect, and ventilate every time to make the room clean, and we also have multiple air purification facilities.
Internet is fast Wi-Fi. Simultaneous connection of multiple devices, watching videos, playing online games, and making video calls are also comfortable.

1st floor living room
In the living room, we have prepared a sofa for 8 people at the table to relax, watch TV and eat. There are also board games and sightseeing pamphlets, which can be used as a place for everyone to gather.
1F Japanese-style room
There is a 6-tatami Japanese-style room connected to the living room. You can spend a relaxing time on the veranda overlooking the bamboo forest, or let your children play in the Japanese-style room while relaxing in the living room. *Air conditioning is shared with the living room.
2F Japanese-style room
The Japanese-style room on the 2nd floor has 2 single beds with Sealy and Japan Bed mattresses. Sealy is hard, and Japan Bed is soft. Try whichever you prefer. * Air conditioner installed
2F Japanese-Western Room
In the Japanese-Western room with a balcony overlooking the bamboo forest, up to 3 people can sleep. * Air conditioner installed
Wooden deck
On the wooden deck overlooking the bamboo forest and overlooking the city, tables and chairs for 8 people are available. You can enjoy a small BBQ using a smokeless roaster. ※Available time: 7~20 o’clock
Kitchen
The kitchen is equipped with a spacious kitchen table, sink, two-burner IH stove, and counter between the living room, making it convenient for cooking and serving. Refrigerator, microwave, rice cooker, kettle, pop-up toaster, smokeless roaster, various cooking utensils, tableware, cups, cutlery are provided.
Bathroom, toilet, washbasin
The water area retains the appearance of an old private house. The toilet has a washlet. In the bathroom (not a hot spring), we have prepared a shower, bath chair and a tub. A washing machine, detergent, iron, etc. are also provided. Washing is also available.

About 10 minutes on foot, there are day-trip hot springs “Miyakami no Yu” and “Hotel Shiroyama”. Please enjoy the hot springs of Yugawara, which has a long history.
【Recommended Restaurant】
Iida Shoten: The most famous ramen shop in Japan. It is a complete reservation system and high-class, but it is a restaurant that people from all over the country come to Yugawara to eat at Iida Shoten.
Shiawase Chinese Soba Nikori: A sister store of Iida Shoten. It is a popular restaurant where soy sauce ramen with a light and gentle taste is delicious.
Ajino-Onishi: This is the birthplace of “Odawara ramen”. *Reading the reviews beforehand recommended.
BREAD & CIRCUS: A popular bakery in Yugawara. It has an elegant taste, and many people buy it as a souvenir.

【Sightseeing spot】
Yoshihama Beach: 5 minutes by car. It is more vacant than Atami and Shonan. You can enjoy swimming and surfing in summer.
Manyo Park: 5 minutes by car or get off at Ochiaibashi from Miyashita bus stop. Guests can take a leisurely stroll through the forest along the valley. There is also a foot bath and a book café, as well as a day-trip hot spring “Kogome no Yu” nearby.
Yugawara Plum Forest and Makuyama Park: 10 minutes by car. In early spring, it is crowded with tourists. Take a walk with the warm sunshine of Yugawara.
Fukuura Fishing Port: 8 minutes by car. Several fishing boats depart from the port.
*Lake Ashi (Hakonemachi Port) is about 35 minutes away by car, and Atami City is about 10 minutes away by car.

Check-in time is 15~21 o’clock and check-out time is 10 o’clock.
Cancellation policy
Free of charge up to 6 days before check-in. After that, you will charge 100%.
【Note】
・The house is located in a residential area and the road to the house may be confusing. After making your reservation, we will send you directions, so please check carefully before coming (as well as parking lots).
・Please do not enter other people’s premises such as nearby parking lots. In particular, we have received complaints from landowners of parking lots next to two houses, and we also provide the guests information to the police when entering.
・Since the tracks are adjacent, there is noise from the train all day. When you rest, we recommend that you close all sashes and doors and bring earplugs.
・Smoking is allowed outdoors only. Place the butts in the butt bin.
・There are houses nearby, so please stay quiet between 21 ~ 7 o’clock. Also, parties are prohibited. * There have been incidents where the police are dispatched due to the noise of the middle of the night. Please be careful about your voice and music.
・Fireworks, open flames, smoke, and odors are prohibited.
・We do not accept pets at all.
・ Please use the futon for the number of people. For additional use, 5,000 yen will be charged per set.
