LINKAGE STAY HAKONE YUMOTO is a house located on a hill in a residential area overlooking the mountains and town of Hakone-Yumoto. Please enjoy a relaxing stay in a chic monotone interior with a view of Hakone’s natural beauty.
Hakone-Yumoto Station is a 12-minute walk from the house, and as it is a steep hill and 20 steps to the house, we recommend the use of a cab or private car. Parking is available for one car at a location about a 3-minute walk away, and access to the house requires climbing a steep hill.
The neighborhood is a quiet residential area, and cherry and mandarin trees grow on the slope next to the house. The Hakone New Road runs behind the house, so there is some automobile noise and vibration, but the location allows you to enjoy the delicious Hakone air and the freshness of the greenery.
Local buses are also available. The nearest bus stop, Yumoto Post Office, provides access to Motohakone Port (Lake Ashinoko) and Hakone-Yumoto Station. Hakone-Yumoto is the most convenient base for touring Hakone. You can access all areas of Hakone by taking the buses and mountain trams that arrive and depart in front of the station.
There are two convenience stores a 5-minute walk away and two day spa facilities a 6-minute walk away. Restaurants are well stocked in front of Hakone-Yumoto station. For those who wish to enjoy gourmet food, sake, and fresh local fish, we recommend taking the train to Odawara.
The two-story, 84㎡ detached house is available for private use. Please feel free to relax with your family, friends, and colleagues.

The two single beds have thick, fluffy mattresses. The room can accommodate up to 3 persons by setting up a folding bed (cot).
Please note that this room faces a motorway, so there will be noise and vibration from cars. Please be aware of this.

Outdoor Space
The outdoor space facing the living room is covered with artificial grass so that residents can relax and enjoy the Hakone air in Coleman infinity chairs. In addition, a designated smoking area is located behind the artificial grass area, near the outdoor unit and garbage stocker.
Please be considerate of our neighbors and keep your outdoor conversations to a whisper. Please put cigarette butts in a water-filled cigarette butt container and do not litter or throw cigarette butts into the garbage stockers (as this may cause a fire).

Parking lot
One car is available at a location about 3-4 minutes walking distance from the house; after the second car, we recommend using a coin-operated parking lot located about 5 minutes walking distance from the house. Please note that the street in front of the house is used by neighborhood residents’ cars, so please only stop for a few minutes.
Neighborhood Information
Hakone-Yumoto is the gateway to Hakone and the largest transportation hub for access to all tourist attractions. The area in front of the station is lined with numerous souvenir stores and restaurants, and is filled with many people during the daytime.
The main attractions of Hakone-Yumoto are the shopping area in front of the station and the hot springs scattered along the river. Fishing and river bathing are also available at the river in front of the station.
The facility is located in the residential area of Hakone-Yumoto, where you can enjoy the atmosphere of both Hakone as a tourist destination and Hakone as a country town in Japan. The living room offers a panoramic view of the city.

From Haneda Airport: 30 minutes by Keikyu Line to Yokohama, 1 hour from Yokohama to Odawara by transferring to Tokaido Line, 15 minutes from Odawara by transferring to Hakone Tozan Railway
Access to our house
Hakone-Yumoto Station is a 12-minute walk away. In front of the station, trains and buses run to all parts of Hakone. If you are coming from Odawara, the Sanmaibashi bus stop is the closest. Parking is available for one car, a 3-minute walk away; for the second and subsequent cars, we recommend using the hourly parking lot near “Hakone Kamon”（箱根花紋）.
House Rules and Precautions
Check-in time is available from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and check-out time is 10:00 a.m.
Cancellation Policy
Free of charge until 31 days prior to check-in. After that, 100% of the total amount will be charged.
Note: The building is located in a back alley.
The restaurant is located in a back alley, so it is difficult to find the way. After making a reservation, we will send you directions. Please check the directions carefully before coming (the same applies to the parking lot).
Please note that you will need to climb a steep hill and stairs to get to our facility. Please be careful if you are carrying large luggage or have weak legs and hips.
Smoking is only allowed in the yard near the trash receptacles. Please put cigarette butts in the cigarette butt receptacle.
Please be quiet between 21:00 and 7:00, as there are residences nearby. No parties are allowed.
Fireworks, open flames, smoke, and odors are prohibited.
Pets are not allowed.
Please use the same amount of bedding as the number of guests. Additional bedding will be charged at 5,000 yen per set.
If you forget something, we will send it to the address you specify at a later date, but please bear the shipping cost.
